Cacao can be stored in a cool dark place for up to one year. We recommend storing your cacao in your fridge to be sure no critters or too much heat doesn't affect your beloved cacao.

Dosages of Cacao
Cacao is a plant medicine and there are recommend doses depending on your intensions with your cacao. For example, a ceremonial does is 1-1.5 ounces (around 32 grams), where a daily dose is around half of that. It is also encouraged to drink a half dose or less if you are pregnant or making this for children under the age of 12. As a guiding principle, we encourage you to listen to your body, that will guide you to exactly what you need.
